Naturally sparkling mineral water Jermuk

Naturally sparkling Jermuk mineral water is drawn in Armenia, in the town of Jermuk. The natural carbon dioxide appears as the water rushes beneath the volcanoes and reaches a temperature of +62 degrees Celsius; that high temperature pushes the water out of the earth with great force.

The first historical records begin in 189 BC, with the building of Jermuk fortress. Since ancient times people have used the remarkable properties of Jermuk mineral water to treat various illnesses. Strong evidence of this are the pools built in Armenia in the Middle Ages and later restored in 1860.

The high quality of Jermuk natural mineral water is backed by various awards and certificates received at prestigious exhibitions in Europe and the United States. Jermuk Group is the only Armenian company that holds a European certificate giving the right to export products to the countries of the European Union. Production of Jermuk mineral water began in 1951. Thanks to its beneficial properties and exceptional taste, Jermuk mineral water quickly became popular in Armenia and throughout the Soviet Union.
